My name is Maribel and I am the owner of Indigenous Beauty Aesthetics. I am Hispanic and Native American and come from the Shoshone, Comanche, and Apache tribes. I am a woman with a love of diversity and culture. My love started with my family that is a mix of Mexican, Filipino, Black, White, Portuguese, Laos, etc. Then it grew even greater when I attended college in Hawaii and got to know more about the Polynesian culture.

The sole purpose of Indigenous Beauty is to display the beauty of people from all parts of the world. I don’t believe that beauty looks a certain way and I want people to be proud of their ancestral features. Whether that’s a gorgeous Polynesian nose, beautiful melanin skin, or even being a chromosome short, it’s something to be proud of!

I am very blessed to have a son that is a mix of Tahitian, Chinese, Mexican, and Native decent. I hope to raise him to be inclusive and respectful to all and it all starts with the teachings I instill here and at home.

I hope that everyone who is in my care feels that love and is never ashamed of who they are, where they come from, or what they look like. I promise to take care of you one treatment at a time 🤍🪶
